The Viewpoints Fellowship is a year-long, student-led program that equips campus club leaders with the skills to navigate disagreement with curiosity — and to build stronger, more resilient organizations. This page explains what a campus partnership includes, how our pricing works, and how to find your institution's tier.
What a partnership includes
Each partner institution enrolls a cohort of ten student fellows for the academic year. The fellowship is designed and run by students, for students — using a peer mentorship model that makes the program feel relevant and sustain itself over time.
Year-long structured fellowship curriculum
All-expenses-paid fall retreat (in-person)
Virtual winter convening with peer institutions
Need-based stipend for fellows
Dedicated Viewpoints Project staff support
Student mentor matched to each cohort
Campus programming design & implementation
Alumni network and returning mentor pipeline
How our pricing works
Rather than charging every school the same rate, we use a two-tier model based on institutional resources — so that well-endowed schools contribute more, making it possible for under-resourced schools to participate at a subsidized rate.
Our pricing is modeled on approaches used by Campus Compact and other higher education networks. We look at two publicly available data points — the percentage of students receiving Pell Grants and endowment per student — because together they give a fair picture of what an institution can realistically absorb. Both figures come from IPEDS, the federal higher education data system.
Schools typically run cohorts of 5–10 fellows. Every school in the fellowship — regardless of tier — receives exactly the same program. If neither published rate works for your institution, we encourage you to reach out to discuss options.

Find your institution's rate
Enter your institution's two key figures below and we'll show you which rate applies. Both numbers are publicly available — see the instructions beneath the calculator if you're not sure where to find them.
Both figures come from the federal IPEDS database and take about two minutes to look up. If you're unsure, make your best estimate — you can always confirm the exact figures later.

Total endowment ÷ total enrollment
Most cohorts run 5–10 fellows
How to find these numbers in under two minutes
1
Go to College Navigator (nces.ed.gov/collegenavigator) and search for your institution.
2
Under the Financial Aid tab, find "Percentage of full-time, first-time degree/certificate-seeking undergraduates awarded federal Pell grants." That's your Pell figure.
3
For endowment per student, divide your institution's total endowment (found in your annual report or the NACUBO endowment study) by total enrollment. Or search "[your school] endowment per student" — this figure is widely reported.
