Student & Educator Training Programs

The Viewpoints Project offers a range of programs designed to foster curious engagement across lines of difference.

The Viewpoints Fellowship is our flagship collegiate program, training student clubs leaders to reach organizational goals and shift campus culture, using the tools of curious disagreement.

We also provide consulting for middle and high schools to help educators and students navigate challenging conversations in and out of the classroom.

Finally, we tailor custom projects to companies, conferences, faith-based communities, and other places ripe for a shift toward curious disagreement.

The Viewpoints Fellowship

A year-long, peer-led fellowship empowering college student leaders to design and implement initiatives promoting curious disagreement in their organizations, and on their campuses.

Middle & High School

Customized consulting for middle and high schools, helping build capacity for curious approaches to difference and disagreement —through curriculum design, teacher training, workshops, or full classroom integration.

Press and Speaking Events

  • One thing I took away from the session was that it was very eye-opening to have to argue a point you didn't agree with and gave me a better view at someone else’s perspective.

  • I like the questions that Shira asked in response to contributions from participants. She elicited the sharing of examples, clarification of ideas and I felt valued, like she was genuinely curious about what I had to say.

  • I want to say I do seriously appreciate the work Shira is doing. I imagine this work is incredibly difficult, and her ability to remain focused in the polarizing and tense environment is impressive. Keep doing good work.
